Ocotal Beach is a calm, sandy beach nestled in a small cove along the coastline of Costa Rica’s sublime Gulf of Papagayo.  About a third of a mile long, it is a great place to relax or swim and is one of the best snorkelling beaches in the area. Ocotal is also one of the most quiet and clean beaches and proudly exhibits Costa Rica’s Blue Flag for cleanliness. It´s located only 3 minutes driving.

 

Pez Vela Beach or Azul Beach is a quiet beach with black sand and gentle waves, located within the Bahía Pez Vela Resort hotel. This beach, surrounded by trees, is kept very clean. you can practice snorkeling and see the wonders that are hidden among the stones that adorn the bottom of the sea. The combination of black sand with the reflection of the sky in the wet sand lives up to its name. Follow the signs of Maracuya Beach Club and when get to the main entrance announce on the gate that you are going to visit the public beach, access to the beach is allow to all public.

Coco Beach or Playas del Coco is a large and clean beach that its considered the heart of the area. You could fine groceries stores, banks, ATMs, restaurants, bars, casinos and all kind of products and services. Sunsets here are absolutely awsomes.

Hermosa Beach a calm and long beach that offers not only its beauties but also entertainment like jet skies, banana tours, boat tours, diving excursion, fishing tours and more.

Panamá Beach a calm and long beach with some trees to relax under its shade and enjoy the Pura Vida costa rican style.

Penca Beach a white sand beach with clear water this place is a little paradise, to get there you have to walk 500 meters form the parking lot.

Calzón de Pobre Beach a small beach with white sand and clear water, is located just biside Penca Beach, so you could get there walking through the rock at low tide or walking 500 meters from the parking lot.

Nacascolo Beach a long and beautiful beach located in Papagayo Gulf and protected by the Four Seasons Resort. You could find entertainment like jet skies, banana tours, boat tours and more. To get there, park your car in the Four Seasons Visitors parking lot and take the free bus until the beach.

 

Blanca Beach To get there, park your car in the Four Seasons Visitors parking lot and take the free bus until the main entrance, you will find 500 steps aprox to get to this beautiful clear water beach.

Virador Beach To get there, park your car in the Four Seasons Visitors parking lot and take the free bus until the main entrance, you will find 500 steps aprox to get to this beautiful clear water beach.

Danta Beach a long and beautiful beach located in Papagayo Gulf surrounded by Las Catalinas Resort, a gorgeous complex of Condominiums.

  

Dantica Beach a small and private beach located near to Danta beach, to get there you have to get to Danta Beach main entrance and walk by the mark trail about 1.5 kms.

Conchal Beach Considered to be one of the most exotic beaches on the Costa Rican Gold Coast, is situated in the north of Guanacaste province on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. This beach is separated by a rocky headland known as Punta Conchal, which gets its name from the sand found here that is composed of hundreds of millions of tiny crushed shells. The water here always remains at a comfortable temperature and is ideal for swimming or snorkeling.

Puerto Viejo Beach: Dont get confused, in Guanacaste we also have a beach with this name, its located just beside Conchal Beach, clear and calm water with white sand. Any car can access the beach, have enough shade and a restaurant close to the parking lot. You can walk by a very easy trail to Conchal for about 25 min, it's totally worth it.

Brasilito Beach Get a true taste of Tico culture when you visit stunning beach, where locals come to escape the city on weekends. This tiny fishing village includes a 2 km stretch of sandy beach.

Flamingo Beach this stunning beach is one of Costa Rica’s Pacific coast jewels and part of the town of Tamarindo’s charm. Flamingo beach is the starting point of many ocean-going excursions and offers the only marina with a full range of services between Panama and Acapulco.
